My Philosophy: Helping You Learn English Through Meaningful Conversation
Conversation is at the heart of language learning. My approach to conversation-based English teaching helps students build fluency while discussing topics that matter to them.

My Approach to Conversation-Based Teaching
Language is most effectively learned through engaging, real-life conversations. In my approach to Teaching English as a Second Language, students don’t just memorize vocabulary—they live the language by discussing topics that matter to them. Whether you’re learning English for work, travel, or everyday communication, authentic dialogue helps you naturally build vocabulary, sharpen listening skills, and better understand the nuances of English.
Integrating Grammar and Visual Support
I weave mini grammar lessons into our conversations, making them feel useful and relevant—not separate from real life. I also use visual aids and props to clarify difficult concepts, so that even advanced grammar feels accessible and practical. My goal is to keep each lesson both engaging and easy to apply in real-world situations.
What Inspired Me to Teach English
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve worked with students and families who struggled to express themselves due to language barriers. I witnessed how the inability to communicate impacted their daily lives. That experience motivated me to earn a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) so I could help learners gain the tools and confidence to thrive.
Walking in My Students’ Shoes
To better support my students, I’ve also been a language learner myself. I spent three months in Mexico, fully immersed in Spanish. That journey gave me firsthand experience with the challenges and joys of learning a second language, and deepened my empathy for my students.
My Commitment to Your Success
I believe the most successful learners combine goal-setting and effort with curiosity and humor. My role is to guide you with clear explanations, personalized strategies, and a learning environment that makes you feel supported and motivated.
